Q: What are the teachers like?
`F All the teachers here have received extensive training in Japanese education
training. We always try to listen to each student's needs and tailor each
lesson to those needs. Our small class size (4 students per lesson) enables
us to give personal attention to each and every student. For more details, please click here.
Q: What are the lessons like?
`F Basically every lesson is taught only in Japanese. We think it is essential that you always listen to Japanese and try to speak with the words/expressions you have learned. This improves your Japanese conversation skill. Don't worry if you have no experience studying Japanese. Trial lessons are available for every level.
Q: How do I go about cancelling a lesson?
`F You may change your lesson to another day, provided that you notify us
one day prior to your scheduled lesson. For Private, Private Group and Special Private lessons, you may cancel
as many times as you like within your contract period.
(Private Group Lessons must be canceled as a group and not on a per-student
basis.) However, for group lessons, you are limited to 5 cancellations
in a 20 lesson contract, and 10 cancellations in a 40 lesson contract.
Q. What happens to my lessons if I take a long break from studying?
`F If you are taking a Private, Private Group or Special private lessons,
as long as you complete your lessons within the contract period and you
inform us beforehand, you can cancel the lessons. If you tell us when your
expected return date will be, we can guarantee your lessons continue at
the same day and time with the same teacher. For group lessons you can
cancel five lessons in a 20 lesson contract, or ten in a 40 lesson contract.
Should you cancel any more than you are allowed in the contract, we cannot
provide a replacement lesson.
Q: What should I do if I have any questions or requests about my class
or teacher?
`FOf course you can speak directly to your teacher in class, or write your
request on the counseling sheets we regularly pass out, or ask any of our
staff. We want to do as much as we can in order to give you the best possible
lesson, so please feel free to approach us at any time.
Q: I'm interested in taking a group lesson. What should I do about it?
`F@For those who would like to take a group lesson please first come and take
a level check (reservation necessary). After the level check, we will find
a class suitable for you. Differing levels of ability can greatly detract
from the effectiveness of a small group lesson. We aim to make all our
lessons as effective as possible for every single student so we lay great
emphasis on the level check. Please refer to our up to date summary of
our group lesson on the following page.http://www.funjapanese.net/group/available1.htm
Q: Where are most of the students from?
`F@Please see gNationalities of students at our schoolh
Q: Can you arrange a student visa?
`F As we do not offer a full time language course, we cannot obtain student visas.
